Windows Desktop App - Crash upon creation of new Repl

Problem description:
I created a new HTML Repl using the App. It loaded in and stuff, but the second that it actually loaded the editor to view index.html, the app just closed.

I just tried reopening the App, and it loaded into that same Repl, and once it loaded in, same thing. It crashed. Leading to a recursive loop; I’ll have to reinstall it now.

Expected behavior:
For it to display the contents of the files and let me edit as normal.

Actual behavior:
Crashes upon trying to load a simple, plain HTML, CSS, JS Repl.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open an already-made Repl
  2. Press the Replit Menu, press Create Repl
  3. Select HTML, CSS, JS and rename it.
  4. Click Create Repl button
  5. Wait for it to load in and it will crash and keep crashing.

Bug appears at this link:
N/A, but the Repl link is https://replit.com/@boston2029/drbutton-analytics

Browser: Microsoft Edge (but im using the desktop app)
OS: Windows 11 Home
Device (Android, iOS, NA leave blank):
Desktop app version (Avatar menu->“Version”) or NA: I do not see a “Version” button, but the name of the installer says Replit-1.0.0.Setup.exe
Plan (Free, Hacker, Pro Plan): Free

Additionally, the Repl loads just fine in my browser.

I’m getting the same thing.

Replied Windows 10 x64
I click on create a project
HTML, CSS, JS
The project is being created, and at the same time the application is closed

Where is the program log so that I can attach it to the request?

I was able to reproduce this on the Linux version.

App version: 1.0.5
OS: Debian 12 (Bookworm)
Steps to reproduce: I created a blank “HTML/CSS/JS” repl (public) and once loaded the app closed
Replit plan: Core
Additional information: Now I can’t even use the app as every time I open it it loads the previous repl (HTML/CSS/JS) and closes.

I am having the exact same issue:

**Browser: Chrome, but using Desktop App
**OS: Windows 10
**Desktop app version: 1.0.5
**Plan: Core

Behavior started after I initialized HTML, CSS, JS repl
I can not use the app at all. The app loads, then crashes almost immediately.

Thanks all. We are in a code freeze for the holidays, but I’ll followup with the team on this one.

Hi all. This should be fixed now with the latest Desktop app update (1.0.6). Please feel free to test and verify at your convenience.
