Keep cetting cowsay when running code

Hi guys when running code i keep getting the “cowsay configure me” with the cow i have tried with different code and get same response what is the reason for this? Any help would be appreciated.

A simple tut on running code would be great.
Is there different ways of going about it for different languages? As far as i know i just enter correct code and run it but not getting very far.

You seem to be using the Blank Repl Template. This requires you to know how to configure Nix to run your code.

If you want to quickly start programming without configuring, you can search for templates for the language you want to use in your Repl.
