Java keep getting hello world

I’m trying to set up and run Java code for first time. Have to use Replit for a class. Know nothing about Java. I’ve uses Python on Replit no problems but every time I run any code I keep getting Hello World.

When I create a new file this appears

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<classpath>
	<classpathentry kind="src" output="target/classes" path="src/main/java">
		<attributes>
			<attribute name="optional" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="maven.pomderived" value="true"/>
		</attributes>
	</classpathentry>
	<classpathentry kind="src" output="target/test-classes" path="src/test/java">
		<attributes>
			<attribute name="optional" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="maven.pomderived" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="test" value="true"/>
		</attributes>
	</classpathentry>
	<classpathentry kind="con" path="org.eclipse.jdt.launching.JRE_CONTAINER/org.eclipse.jdt.internal.debug.ui.launcher.StandardVMType/J2SE-1.5">
		<attributes>
			<attribute name="maven.pomderived" value="true"/>
		</attributes>
	</classpathentry>
	<classpathentry kind="con" path="org.eclipse.m2e.MAVEN2_CLASSPATH_CONTAINER">
		<attributes>
			<attribute name="maven.pomderived" value="true"/>
		</attributes>
	</classpathentry>
	<classpathentry kind="src" path="target/generated-sources/annotations">
		<attributes>
			<attribute name="optional" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="maven.pomderived" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="ignore_optional_problems" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="m2e-apt" value="true"/>
		</attributes>
	</classpathentry>
	<classpathentry kind="src" output="target/test-classes" path="target/generated-test-sources/test-annotations">
		<attributes>
			<attribute name="optional" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="maven.pomderived" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="ignore_optional_problems" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="m2e-apt" value="true"/>
			<attribute name="test" value="true"/>
		</attributes>
	</classpathentry>
	<classpathentry kind="output" path="target/classes"/>
</classpath>

Hey, @jtmboy78 welcome to the forums!

Can you please provide a link to the repl? This way it is easier for staff and members of the community to help you!

Also see this guide on how to share your code:

Is your issue the same as the topic below? Like mentioned, the .replit file contains the entrypoint. If not, then we’ll wait to hear from you on more information.
