I didn’t realise there were multiple pronunciations lol, reg-ex makes sens to me since it stands for regular expression; reg like in regular and ex like in expression.

Looked this up on Google, and it is pronounced as “reh-geks”. Though it seems more natural to pronounce it as “Rejex” IMO.

I think the reason most people who prefer rejex prefer it is that it takes less time to say.
