Yeah, not so sure about that. There have been topics with lots of votes asking Replit to revert changes, one with even over 100, but nothing happened.

Lets say you have a ton of votes even though you have a ton of votes it doesn’t mean that what you request is what’s going to happen votes do not matter in feature requests its whether or not the higher up people on Replit want that request to happen! Really what they are saying is we don’t like that feature request so we are not going to do it! It’s unfair but there’s not much anyone can do about it!

then how does it work are you implying that the staff are not the ones who can make updates to change things if so then who are the ones who can edit replits updates

Not everyone on the staff team is in control of everything — for example, moderation staff aren’t going to be able to make a revolutionary change to the actual IDE, for their job is to moderate the forums. They will not revert these changes as it is simply a monetization strategy, and the staff have already expressed their verdict. Also, it’s not necessarily that they don’t like the feature request, it’s just what they think is best for Replit.
