I started using replit just this weekend. I’ve got a repl set up as a basic Discord bot (using node JS) which has been working great with one minor problem – the bot logs out of Discord after several hours of running, even as the repl continues to run.
I followed the steps outlined in the relevant tutorial to set up the bot. And everything works for a few hours, and then suddenly, the bot shows as offline in Discord. The repl shows as running, and the ping page is rendering properly – it’s just the discord bit that’s not working.
I’ve got the repl set to “Always On,” and I’m using Uptime Robot to continually ping the tool to prevent it from timing out. Potentially notable: once the bot has logged out of Discord, the only way for me to get it back is to enter “kill 1” in the console.
One more bit of potential info: I found the following log data for the repl, which implies that something is going into sleep mode. Any way around this?
