When I zip a replit file does it also save the env/secrets?

No it does not, unfortunately. You’ll have to manually port your secrets into an .env
file.

Actually this is a good thing. It’s just that I made my ZIP public and then found a .env file.
You can edit your Secrets as JSON in the Secrets tab and copy and paste them from there to make it easier.
That’s unfortunately not how it works, an env file must be written in ini

Yes, but copy and pasting all those keys and values as one and then just fixing up the formatting is a lot easier than any alternative.
