On this forum, I tried hovering over a reaction I gave, and it said “You can no longer remove your reaction”.
Why is that? The topic is not closed, unlisted, or anything. Does it just lock your reaction after a while?

It’s probably because after a certain amount of time (5 minutes AFAIK) it locks it in.
Its a Discourse thing though, not a repli think IIRC (I don’t think I could change it on AMC)
Maybe it automatically changes with edit grace period?
This setting might have been changed BTW
I’m pretty sure you could and just didn’t see the setting. Idk
Even after like a day I can change my reactions on some other posts I think…
Nevermind just went through some things I liked and I can’t change them
Bruh how is that the solution XD
Because it quotes both posts and proves me wrong
I dont think this was changed. I have asked an admin to check.
Well NOW it takes like 5 seconds for it to lock. I 'd a post but then decided in like 5 seconds that a different reaction would be better, but I couldn’t change it.
I just tested and its more like 1 second XD
Noooo this is terrible!! I just clicked the wrong reaction and now I reacted “” to a reply saying
Correction: I did not update it to 10 minutes (that’s what it was before). I tried to override the window of time so that you’d be able to remove reactions anytime, but I can see that didn’t work. Let me take another shot at it…
