Till yesterday u was getting a more graphical UI with commit and push combined.
Now i get a simple text tree view where i always need to commit and then push.\
What setting might I have changed without realising it?

Yep it was updated to make it easier to use
Interesting. I see i can revert to the older version (which was easier to use btw in my eyes). I will get used i guess.
