The desktop app is currently in beta. (Im even using it right now) I do not know when it is coming out of beta. I can ask if you would like though

hey @whatisaapple, thanks for your interest in the desktop app!
look out for an official announcement and release in the next couple of weeks 
In the meantime, if you enable the “explorer” role in your account, you should be able to try it out a bit early by visiting replit.com/desktop
