What's Going To Happen With All The Scratch Projects?

Lately there has been a huge problem with people cheating their way to trending by taking famous Scratch projects they don’t legally have rights to and using tools to put them on replit, how do you think this will turn out?

I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure everything on Scratch is MIT licensed. :man_shrugging: Either way, I wouldn’t say that’s the issue, the issue is more if they claim the content is theirs.

I think the main issue is how peoplesomeone xor people is/are abusing alts to get those on trending.

As long as credit is provided, it is perfectly legal.

This is more showing that trending is broken. It needs moderation and more rules than just, MIT license is king.

The fact that they’re Scratch projects isn’t that bad, but what really gets me is that most of the time they didn’t even make the project

Man, this is bringing back memories lol, I got banned from scratch three years ago after my brother’s account was incorrectly automatically flagged as an alt of another random account and my account was automatically flagged as an alt of my brothers… :frowning: I was so mad because right around that time Among Us blew up and I was making an Among Us clone on Scratch and that low key blew up and I was winning the race to clone Among Us on Scratch :joy: It’s only cos I got banned from Scratch that I ever actually learnt to program :man_shrugging:

So there is a positive e side to it as scratch is great, but even my younger kind got bored with it (when he was 10) as it is very limiting and he moved to make games in things like game maker, unity and still refusing to learn python (he will be forced next school year :face_with_hand_over_mouth:)

ooh that’s like me I feel dumb because they have the “hip” ML ;-; and I’m still playing around with curses
