I am totally ignorant on what extension capabilities could be … if i knew more maybe i could give some ideas.

They can edit files, access Repl DB, send toast messages, do a bit of GraphQL, access a user’s theme, etc.

I wonder if an extension could bring tabnine or copilot to replit …

Not yet, as we have no API for accessing CodeMirror. We’d have to make our own code editor for that.

@Yang-Yi-Shen and I just started making one lol. We have no idea how to do it so we are just trying something really simple to start with.
