What is the GPU option?

I was just editing my repl when I saw a new option appeared under the “Boost Repl” one saying “GPU” and its description is “Add an NVIDIA Tesla K80 GPU to the Repl”, What is GPU and why should I enable it?
(also appears that I am the first one talking about it in replit ask lol)

For machine learning would speed up things. Now the question is if is if powerful enough for any sensible training ot just for inference.
I prefer to train offline on my 3090 rigs and infer here (or in other servers)

Look at Mr. Moneybags here. How does a GPU help with training though?

Training without GPU or TPU is just wasting time and works for small things only.
