So I deleted a repl to kind of keep it private and decided to restore it and finish it with a friend, but when I invited him, we discovered that every time we tried to chat in the “chat” tab, it said validation error.

I should be able to chat with my friend using the built-in chat tab, but it only says “validation error” after I restored the repl; when I first created the repl and invited my friend, it worked, but after I restored it and invited him, it stopped working.
This only happened after I deleted and restored the repl.
Prior to the deletion, my friend was invited to the repl and participated in the code creation.
Thank you for your post and sorry that you are experiencing issues. However the Replit support team may not be able to help you with this issue if you do not complete the template fields fully.
Without knowing the expected and actual behaviour (screenshots are fine for this section) as well as the link to your Repl and the steps a member of the support team will need to follow to reproduce the error there won’t be much we can do to help you.
The more information you provide at the start, the easier it will be to identify if your bug report is an issue or a misunderstanding.
