Undo new Replit UI

Update 4/7/23: Here is a concise, well-organized explanation of why we hate the UI.

As of this morning I have noticed that the new Replit UI is no longer explorer. Replit didn’t listen and now we must vote to undo this.
This previous topic got 16 votes opposing the UI while it was explorer. We have already complained about it there so I won’t go into details again here and be redundant.

Feedback on new Replit UI

Please vote on the feature request now as now we have to undo this. This is not a feature addition request but rather a request that a beta feature not get used. I don’t really know what category to put this in. If you turn on explorer mode on your Replit account you can see a new UI. This UI makes reading the comments next to impossible and I hate it very much. It ruins all usage of PikaBot2005 and other bots by making comments nearly impossible to view. This is unusable. Look at how the styling on the code is. It’s hard to read.

If you use a flag editor, you can set flag-new-cover-page to false and then old cover pages are still visible and usable.

Yes, but for how long? How long before they decide that “Oops, we missed that, put the new style on there too.”? Also, this doesn’t allow for easy comment picking.

Yeah, the new UI doesn’t look very good. It doesn’t feel right when it’s on the left of the screen (No pun intended)
