"TERM environment variable not set." error occurs when I attempt to test code

I am in a python class and when I test my code using the test feature in Replit, I get the “TERM environment variable not set.” error. The shell returns “xterm-256color” when I enter “echo $TERM” and “printenv TERM”. As far as I know, does that not mean the local and environmental terminals are the same? If you could help resolve my issue, I would appreciate it.

Hey, @FranklinDai1 welcome to the forums!

Can you please provide a link to the repl? This way it is easier for staff and members of the community to help you!

Also see this guide on how to share your code:

Hi @FranklinDai1 !
As the repl is in a team, we cannot see it.
Could you fork the repl and send the forked copy? Thanks!

https://replit.com/@FranklinDai1/Forked-Repl-Temp,
btw the code itself works perfectly fine

Hi @FranklinDai1 !
Can you show a screen recording of the error you are experiencing (use the team repl)?
Thanks so much!
(Embed the video here, it’s easier than the link)

Sorry it says new users can’t upload videos so here’s a link Video Upload & Annotation - Gemoo

Sorry it says new users can’t upload videos, I tried using a link but the automatic spam filter temporarily hid it, so it might take a while before you can see the video.
