Teams insists on Groups

Why can’t my students access my team project individually? It keeps forcing a group even though I am telling it not to.

Even if I set group to “1” it defaults back to 4.

Why are you making it a group project? Copy the project and make it so it is not a group project.

I did that - but I don’t have a dialog that let’s me say whether it’s a group project or not (or if I do, I can’t find it.) Can you send a screenshot to show me where it is?

It is an option when you select Create project

You are unable to change a project if its already made. It needs to be new project:

Thank you all! Yes duplicating didn’t work - it duplicated the “group” setting. Got it. Much obliged.
