[Billing issue]: I started a free pro trial, however, when the billing period ends this will put us on a pro account. At the time being, we do not need a pro account, only a hacker (for deployments). It would be much appreciated to have the account moved to a hacker account to reduce our prices.

Just cancel it right before the trial ends, or if you really care, email Replit for support switching your plan at support@replit.com (the forum is not the place to request that)
