Problem description:
The shell is slow, experienced as high latency which makes typing annoying
Expected behavior:
Real time or near real time responsiveness for typed text
Steps to reproduce:
Enter commands in the console.

2017 Big Sur iMac running Chrome.
The shell is very slow for me. I am merely Hacker tier, but I have friends with the full package who are experiencing the same thing. What is the deal with that? I guess it could be my computer but said friend has a modern MacBook Pro. Perhaps it’s a Mac issue?
