Using Github as the sign up option just redirects back to the sign up page. This could be a github issue but I do not think so because I am signed in and could allow replit to use my account.
After the redirect there is then a failed auth request which shows:
428: message: “Email verification is required to continue. Please check your email, or choose another provider.”
But when I click verify email in the email it takes me to the signup page.
My github username is NickDGreg
Expected vs Current Behavior:
When I attempted to create an account at the /signup page, I clicked continue with Github then I could give replit permission but it would jump back to the sign up page. I had an email to verify my email address but it would also jump back to the signup page. The same would happen at the sign in page. When I selected continue with google it worked without issue.
Steps to reproduce:
Try to create a new account with a github account.
