Welcome to Ask! If you are wanting to search all Repls from all users on Replit for some code, that feature was recently removed. If you want to search a Repl for something while in the workspace, simply use Ctrl+F.

We have not been informed about the imminent return of this feature.

Replit said it was an abuse vector IIRC. From my understanding, people could theoretically use it to just search for the format of, say, OpenAI keys, and use them for whatever they wanted.

We don’t know if it will return and AFAIK there has been no official statement from Replit about this.

But I feel like they should have just made Secrets easier and maybe automatic to prevent this kind of stuff.

We’re just community members, we cannot make changes directly. It is also unlikely that this feature will return.
