"Riju incident"?

What is “the Riju incident”?

There’s this guy who interned at Replit. After he left, he made a site called “Riju”. It was a site where you could run code of lots of different languages.

He and the CEO of Replit, Amjad, were talking through email. He mentioned Riju, and Amjad said it was too much like Replit and to take it down.

In the end, the guy decided to keep Riju up.

I think he took it off for a bit so “Am Sad” would leave him alone.

if it’s going to end up as an issue, i can always take that comment down so someone else gets that 1000th comment (i only have it because pure coincidence)

Nah you’re fine, no one else can truly get comment 1k anyways, not as far as Discourse is concerned.
