I have been trying to use repl.it in Python mode with my students but it seem so be running horribly slowly and half the class just get the message “Booting” for ages making it unusable.
Is there maintenance or something or is there a big problem??
You can always check Replit’s status site to see if there are any current or past issues with the site. I don’t think there have been any issues recently that sound like what you’re describing, this could be slow/poor internet connection. If you’re using Replit at school and a large number of students and likely teacher/s are all accessing Replit on the school’s internet, it’s possible that the internet is being flooded with all of these people using it hence it slowing down quite a bit. Sometimes, however, repls can just take a while to boot.
