RAM spiking
Expected vs Current Behavior:
expected: ram not spiking when i start up my repl. VS currrent: ram spiking even on new repl.

I know that sometimes, the RAM wouldn’t sync with the actual RAM used (which you can see it if you expand the Resources section).
However, I have only seen it a few times and happened quite some time ago, so I don’t think that the problem anymore.
I think the most probable cause is that Replit taking much too much cache. Try refreshing the website without cache by pressing Shift + Ctrl + R .

then it goes back to spicy mode (spiked)
Did you try forking the Repl to see if that fixed the problem? You can also try manually downloading the whole Repl and putting it into a new one (not by forking).

Try disabling LSP, that can use lots of RAM
