Public Replit vs Sensitive Data

Hey Guys, as we all know, the free version of Replit makes all of your work public, the question is - will any of my sensitive data be public to others?

Use Case:
I’m creating a specific python call that is going to ask my database to provide me some specific data, in the code, I have to provide my database’s API key - will this be available to others?

Thanks!

If it is in the code, then yes, it is public.

Instead, you can use Secrets to hide your API keys.

This will hide any sensitive data from people who are not invited to code in your Repl.
