Can the extension read secrets?
No. I’m not even sure if there’s a way to do that atm. Where are they stored?
Not 100% sure since I haven’t tested it but I think you can just read the .env
file.
Even though users aren’t allowed to create .env
files, they’re still used internally by Goval.
Okay, just used the debug tab to check and I guess .env is used. Seems like it’s base64 encoded as well but that wouldn’t be a problem to read. Interesting. Is this something you want or don’t want it to read? Right now it can only read one file at a time, and that’s any file that you switch to. And you can’t switch to the .env file.
Who said you can’t open the .env
file?
How would you? Manually editing the layout?
Maybe, but I can think of another way.
And what way would that be? =P
The ReplSpace API, it lets you open files in the editor.
Pikawriter?!?! More like Pwikawritor-chan
I have beta access but the store won’t load for me
Same. I just emailed back saying it didn’t work lol. Now I prob look like a fool XD.
yay. this motivates me to make an extension
No no, more like Pikawitew-chan~~ UwU OwO
I got rid of the April fools thing earlier btw
so it should be back to normal XD
i did too, i got a response like 3 weeks after
you can just use your shell commands lib to echo every env var and return it
That doesn’t work anymore, it needed the layout thing and that got removed
awww that sucks, it was a great lib
If it will become the free ghostwriter, than Replit might shut it down because it would be taking money from them.
