Persistent Connection Error with Telebot on Replit's Paid Hacker Plan - Need Insights!

Question: Hello guys! I’m on the paid hacker plan and have the ‘always on’ feature enabled in my Replit repo. However, I keep running into this error: “(‘Connection aborted.’, RemoteDisconnected(‘Remote end closed connection without response’))” when trying to run a Python script with the telebot package. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

if __name__ == "__main__":
    while True:
        try:
            bot.polling(none_stop=True)
        except Exception as e:
            print(f"Error: {e}")
            sleep(5)

Welcome to Ask!

Try replacing the script you have shown with this code:

if __name__ == "__main__":
  bot.infinity_polling(none_stop=True)

I’ll try your approach, I’ll attempt to let it run for 2 consecutive days, then I’ll provide feedback! Ty!!

As previously mentioned, I let the code run for 2 days. During this time, I only encountered one error, which is illustrated in the attached image. However, after addressing this issue, the code continued to function normally. I appreciate all the assistance provided. Thank you again!
