Is this true, and are there any alternatives?

It says out of date because the link is to a question from 4 years ago, that’s why I am asking now if multithreading works.
An answer to that quuestion mentioned that “nodejs execution environment strictly does not support multithreading”.

I see no reason why multi-threading wouldn’t work.
