No Open in new tab?

On the webview, I should be able to click on a button to open the following window in another tab…there is no button at all, how am I supposed to know the URL?
Guess it?

Not Found
The requested URL was not found on the server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.

Repl link/Link to where the bug appears:

Can you please send a screenshot?

If you get Not Found, it means that the Webview doesn’t detect a / route (for web frameworks) or index.html files (for HTML/CSS/JS repls). To fix this, try changing the /route to the correct route.
There should be a New Tab button next to the devtools icon in the Webview.

Yes can you first send a screenshot please or maybe you can try clicking run and then in the web view page there should be a “New Tab” Button like this:

And if it is showing “Not Found” when opened then it may be because you probably renamed the index.html or if you tried to type the link yourself with a then it may be because of it as it has been removed.

There are steps to open the desired window in another tab

  • Click on the right on the webpage
  • Then select the inspect for the developer tool
  • Than navigate the consol tab
  • Put on the java script command‘desired_URL_here’,‘_blank’)
  • Then click on the enter
  • This command will help you to open new tab
I hope this will be helpful to you.

As you can see here, there is no button where to click to open this page in a new tab, so no way to know the url.

Can you please tell me how to get such a url?

Thank you.

Click the button with the arrow popping out of the box, next to the spanner.
Hope this helps!

I’m lost.
I’m in the console tab:

How do I do this:

  • Put on the java script command‘desired_URL_here’,‘_blank’) ?

No, don’t click on the spanner, click on the box with the arrow. The last buton there. It will open the website in a new tab, allowing you to copy the url in the address bar.

Negative, I don’t have anything like that:

I never touched or modified anything there.

Thank you.

I get this:

This error does not matter, I just need a way to see the URL because I use it somewhere else.

Click this arrow coming out of the little box. It will show the URL.

Negative, there is no button where to click:

I’m not clicking any spanner

Please press this button:
This button will open the page in a new tab.

Fine, too bad that I’m getting an url like this:

That url is not working in my Manychat.

Make sure that you defined a / route in your Flask app. For example:

def homepage():
  return "Hello, world!"

Yes, that works, but the point here is that I can’t get URL because there is no button to open in a new tab, I need that to use it on Manychat.
Also, this seems kind of useless if you close the window (without logging out), it stops running.
Seems that you have to pay for that and I don’t want to do it without proper testing, would you?

I think you are talking about deployments.

If you want to test it then simply keep the window open for awhile.

well replit has to make money somehow man also I think they stay running while inactive for 15 minutes (correct me if I’m wrong) which seems like plenty of time to test it
