My Repl got blacklisted

So I went to publish an update on my Repl and got a notification that it was blacklisted by a moderator. I viewed the Repl’s cover page and my update showed as a comment. So, I deleted the comment and tried again. Same result. What’s going on here? Read the Repl description, it doesn’t contain “ass”.

Swears are not allowed so thats why its blacklisted. Please remove the swears and try again

Now it’s been unpublished. Read the description of the Repl. It DOES NOT CONTAIN any swear words. It contains none of the words which I was blacklisted for including, nor did it ever include them. Before I go and re-publish this Repl, I want to know it’s not going to get blacklisted again. I don’t want to lose my account because of some glitch in Replit.

This seems to be the AutoModeration bot that I made, and the reason its flagging your post is because you the number of bytes you present (455) is read by our profanity scanner as “ass” because of a number swap xD. I think this is an instance where you just had a tiny misfortunate event but don’t worry no actions are taken against your account. Tier 2 blacklists just hide offensive content.

My “solution” would be to fib a bit in your description and say 454 bytes :person_shrugging: but yeah dw about consequences there are none and this is intended behavior, albeit a poor stroke of luck :).

If a matter of Replit site moderation comes up feel free to ping me (@RayhanADev) and I’ll get on the case, probably good to keep us in the loop on these things :+1:.

You should be banned for not making a perfect bot. (Ignore how one of my bots spammed ${posts[i]} once)

nah i have too much plot armor in the replit story, never been warned or banned for anything :kekw: despite doing some preeeeetty crazy things xD

also automod v3 is probably one of our best and more accurate bots currently compared to anything we’ve had in the past :OMEGALUL:

Thank you! I will change that and I will try to make the code smaller, thus making it truly 454 bytes.

Now it’s 434 bytes, so problem truly averted.

I’ve never been warned or banned too and I’ve been on for almost 2 years of replit. Do I get a badge

I only got blacklisted because the bot thought that 4 followed by 55 was a bad word. But yes, you should get a badge.
