Hi everyone, inspired by this post, I’ve decided to make my own programming challenge.
Basically, I’m going to give you some output, and your challenge is to decode it and decipher the hidden message. It’s a pretty simple challenge, although it might not be so obvious at first. If you think you have the answer, please private message me rather than spoil the challenge for others and I’ll try and keep a list of the people who have solved it successfully (after a couple of people have got it, I’ll post the answer and how you could solve this).

There are 4 ‘layers’ of ‘encryption’ you will need to decode in order to reveal the hidden message, you don’t necessarily even need to write a program to solve this for you (I’m just validating your answer). A little sneaky hint: it will be useful to know different number systems… Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favour (don’t know why I decided to use that quote…)!
Also, as a side-note, on Replit there used to be weekly challenges (this might still be ongoing, I lost track after ‘Replit talk’ was removed), where each week a challenge would be posted, you could comment your solution repl within a week and the submissions would be scored and ranked. I’m considering starting that here, so if you’re interested, let me know.
