Linked Custom URL still giving DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error

Hello everyone,

I’m building a basic website for myself and after going through the tutorial for linking a custom url I am still receiving a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error when visiting the site.

It shows as linked in the editor and I’ve added the TXT to the Google Domain Records.

The website given in the tutorial shows that it has propagated to almost all of the DNS servers, but I still seem to be getting the DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error when I visit the url.

I am new to using a custom domain, so I’m sorry if I’ve just done it wrong, but any help would be appreciated.

Hmm did you add A or CNAME

Or just txt (I am just guessing stuff)

I tried adding an A before but when adding the TXT i didn’t see the “create new record” button at the bottom, I’ve now added it and it is working.
