Letters on files

what do these letters and numbers mean

Hey @JoepreyDangkulo!

The letters are being used because the Repl is connected via Git. The letters tell you if there has been changes and if they have been synced or not. I hope this helps!

what exactly do the letters mean though?

  • Not modified: -
  • New: N
  • Modified: M
  • Deleted: D
  • Renamed: R,
  • Type changed: T
  • Ignored: I
  • Conflicted: U (unmerged)

No, it just means the Repl uses Git. Git and GitHub are not the same.

Yes, and even if you don’t own the repo, if there’s a .git folder present then it will say these. To remove them just delete .git.
