Is Scratch Good for Education and Beginners?

Yes I’ve done block coding for like 1 billion years.

To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend Scratch, but it isn’t necessarily bad. After all, a programming language is a tool, not really a skill. The “programming” skill comes from actually practicing computational problems and implementing algorithms that are efficient, and Scratch is basically that, just in a more consumable manner.

JavaScript. If I ever work it out lol.

I started my way in programming with Scratch. My dad advised me to study it. At first, I got simple games and cartoons in it. And after 4 years of studying Scratch, I learned how to create terrain generators and battle simulators in it, despite the small number of functions in Scratch. And I’m still programming a bit in Scratch.

I think Scratch is suitable for novice programmers.
