If there is a way to check you could check yourself in shell or something (and to update you could find the new packages on Nix if they exist)

on the current template, no. If your repl is outdated and it isn’t migrating automatically, add ?migrateNonNix=1 to your repl’s URL.
Then, to keep dotnet updated, change your nix.channel to unstable.
