Inconvenient Block Comment Behavior with Docstrings (JS/TS)

I type out a docstring with /**. Autocomplete kicks in and finishes up the end with */

I hit Enter and it adds a plain line break.

I’m expecting it to automatically add a new line auto-indented line with an asterick and a space so I can start writing a docstring right away.

What problem(s) would this feature solve?
A lot of extra key presses.

A lot of convenience when documenting code.

This missing feature alone has discouraged me from documenting parts of my code.

I tried to add some docstrings to my typescript code.

This is true!

Like my other post about being able to customize keybinds to do other things, or being able to make boilerplate shortcuts, lacking a way to edit keybinds and such is not future-proof and would suck for other newer languages not well known being used on Replit as well.
