I can't link a custom domain

I’m trying to link a custom domain to one of my Flask Repls, but I can’t find the pen icon that used to be there for setting up custom domains. It’s just gone, and I can’t link my custom domain. Kind of sad. Is this a bug, or is it related to deployments being rolled out?

IIRC You can only use deployments to connect to a custom domain.

What happened to custom domains?

Hello there! Custom domain linking is no longer available in the development IDE (even though repls with existing domains might retain this ability for a longer time frame) as Replit is transitioning to a Deployment-based framework. Instead of looking for the pencil icon, create a new deployment and continue from there.

Yeah, I’m good; I’m not paying just to connect custom domains. Anyway, thanks for the clarification.

wow, I am with you. I have a suggestion regarding this to the replit staff… knock it off or you are going to fail like all the others. Should have gone open source imo you would be making more from donations and patreon than what you are now I bet and users would have full control… just a suggestion ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This change (among others) is really very frustrating. Many of us relied on these systems for many years and seeing them go away is a real, genuine pain.

If you already connected a custom domain it still works and the “Edit Domain” button shows up.
