Here’s an example of what @UMARismyname suggested above:

<!-- app info -->
<meta name="author" content="[Your name]">
<meta name="application-name" content="[Title here]">
<meta name="description" content="[Description here]">
<meta property="og:title" content="[Title here]">
<meta property="og:description" content="[Description here]">

<!-- app thumbnail -->
<meta property="og:image" content="[URL to image]">
<meta property="og:image:type" content="[image/jpeg or image/png]">
<meta property="og:image:alt" content="[Image description]">

Just replace [Your title] with the title of the embed, replace [Your description] with the description/body of the embed, and [URL to image] with a URL to the image of the embed. If the image is a .png then set the image type to image/png. If it is a .jpg or .jpeg set the type to image/jpeg.
