How to get Live app url

how do i find the live app url? even after running npm install express

Hey, @ishmaelmanne2 welcome to the forums!

Can you please provide a link to the repl? This way it is easier for staff and members of the community to help you!

Also see this guide on how to share your code:

you should then run the main file (if it’s not index.js, specify the file to run in .replit) with the run button and you get a url once you press new tab on the webview popup

Installing express is not all it takes. You must also create an express app and make it listen to requests (boilerplate code below):

const express = require('express');
const app = express();

app.get('/', (req, res) => {

Then, once running the code, you’ll see the webview pane, after which you can click New tab and you’ll get a URL you can share.

Please note this URL will no longer work in 2024 as is being deprecated, and you will have to be in the IDE for it to run past 2024.
