i like python for most everything
i am currently branching out to fortran because my grandpa used to write code for fortran machines
more about him:
he worked at honeywell as an engineer there, and was one of the very few people at the time who had access to such machines
he wrote code on punchcards

I started to feel old, because I have also used fortran … till the moment you mentioned punch machines as that is old also for my age.
I honestly hated fortran (I did like forth and anything stack based).

well, maybe it is because Fortran and Pascal were things I was forced to learn …
