Hello! I’m new to Replit, nice to meet you all. This is a great platform.
I wanted to make a project that would have to use TCP sockets. It turns out that there’s a restriction and you could use something like ngrok to get TCP sockets (other than http) available.
That got me thinking even more, and so I remembered one of the coolest Node projects out there. "irc-server’. I used song940’s project and combined it with ngrok to create a IRC server that can run under Replit’s servers.
I love networking and coding so I’ll be happy to share you all some of my projects in the future when I have time. (I have something awesome planned soon.)
