Github reverted my code back two months, and I lost over two months of coding

This is the first time I’ve posted something like this on a form before, so please excuse my grammar, and/or lack of terms on this website. But to the problem at hand!
I use GitHub to help me save backups of my replit code in case I mess something up, and today I went to my code to see that for some reason all my GitHubs sent my code back to two months ago, removing weeks of work on my code. I’ve tried refreshing the page, and I pulled it up on another computer (which had it, but once I refreshed the repl, it too was at this state). I know I was working on this prior to two months ago, because I was working on this code yesterday. To put it simply, I’ve been making saves throughout replit and GitHub for code, later it wipes my coding progress back by two months, and I can’t seem to get it back to the way it was yesterday. Is this a bug? Do I need to reach out to GitHub too? Is there a way to recover the code lost?
Thank you so much for your time, and help!

I have never heard of it. Did you check directly on GitHub? I would assume that if you committed the code is all there and it is just a repl sync problem.

Sounds like an internet related issue… But maybe there’s an issue, hopefully the mods will look into it and get back with more info, assuming you can provide more info to them too

I’m in the process of checking in with them, but they haven’t responded yet.

Hey @ColtonBennett1!

Can you please send me the link to your Repl? I’ll take a look and if I can’t find solutions, I’ll flag it to the team to see if there’s anything we can do to recover your code!

Once again, thank you so much for your help!

We can’t find anything out of the ordinary on our end. We suggest reaching out to GitHub to see if they are able to recover anything for you, as the issue seems to have originated from them.

Update, I was able to fix my error by going to the history button on the bottom right of each file, and rewinding it a couple of days. Thank you guys so much for your help, and I hope you guys have a good rest of your day!
