Git fatal error when sync and fetching

Problem description:
Whenever I fetch in git, it throws anywhere from 2 to 5 fatal errors.
Expected behavior:
actually sync and fetch
Actual behavior:
Fatal errors
Steps to reproduce:
In git, hit the refresh and fetch button

Bug appears at this link:

Browser: Chrome
OS: ChromeOS
Device (Android, iOS, NA leave blank): Chromebook
Desktop app version (Avatar menu->“Version”) or NA: na
Plan (Free, Replit Core): free

What are the fatal errors?

I can’t upload a recording yet, but it says unknown git error, this is probably a bug in the app

Could you try running git commands manually from the Shell tab?

maybe, not good at that though. link to an explanation?

I think it’d just be git fetch, right?

git fetch doesn’t do anything (or at least doesn’t output anything)

up a trust level, recording incoming

yes i know my commit messages are trash I was just messing around

What about git fetch main?

fatal: 'main' does not appear to be a git repository
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

Huh, does origin work instead of main?

still no output. here’s the github repo I’m trying to fetch from

because the code I want to have in replit is much different than what I currently have

Does the command just exit and return to the CLI, or does it hang doing nothing?

What’s the output of git fetch;echo $? by chance?

Have you refreshed the page?

I don’t believe that will help here, considering Shell commands aren’t working either.

output is 0 trying to hit 20 characters
