Here in England we have a fantastic organisation called the Teach Computing that shares lots of best practice resources for teaching computing.
Their website has a brilliant ‘pedagogy’ section. I’d particularly recommend the quick reads.

Nice one Andy. Might want to also checkout www.n7.education (full disclaimer - Im one of the founders 
) for a very different use case - making quizzes / tests / exams. Most resources map to IB DP Computer Science but also Alevels too. Doesn’t do anything fancy with classes - just a simple community question bank to get the job of making assessment (pdf) done.
