Exit() command in python

Problem description:
exit() in python program does not exit smoothly but gives an error: “repl process died unexpectedly:”

Expected behavior:
exit the program without any errors

Actual behavior:
exits and gives an error: “repl process died unexpectedly:”

Steps to reproduce:
exit()

Browser/OS/Device:
Chrome/OSX/MacBook Pro

Exiting with the message “repl process died unexpectedly” is intended behavior. That isn’t an error, it’s an indicator.
