Error: externally-managed-environment

Problem description

error: externally-managed-environment
× This environment is externally managed
╰─> This command has been disabled as it tries to modify the immutable
    `/nix/store` filesystem.

Expected behavior

Just joined replit for whoogle. Ran into this issue. I have no idea how to fix anything in this system with python. I’m a webdev.
Does replit need me to join, as a paid member for this to work? They would just say that. Nonetheless … How should I proceed please?

Actual behavior

After pushing the run button … Encounters the above error … Then just quits … and shows the Run button again?

Steps to reproduce

looks like you’ve fixed the error by importing from GitHub instead of using a community template?
That is often a better idea than using (old) community templates, because GitHub imports take you to the latest configuration which you can then easily tweak by configuring your repl.
