Downloaded my project as a zip file but when i opened it, my files look weird

Problem description: The zip files from the repl project when opened has some really funky files. Strangely, index.html is nowhere to be seen.

Expected behavior: I download the zip file from the replit project, I open the zip file, files okay

Actual behavior: Seen in screenshot below
image

Steps to reproduce: Three dots, Download as zip, Open the zip file using WinRAR

Bug appears at this link:
https://replit.com/@sxh/NeuroTop

Browser: Chrome
OS: Windows 10
Device (Android, iOS, NA leave blank):
Desktop app version (Avatar menu->“Version”) or NA: NA
Plan (Free, Replit Core): Free

Odd, I’ve only heard of the ZIP files inside your project corrupting when you downloaded them individually. Maybe a bug related to that?

Oh you are using WinRAR? Try just using the built-in ZIP viewer. (Might be a way that WinRAR decodes it)

i can see index.html now but the junk is still there

Just tried, while I can’t reproduce this on one of my personal repls, I can reproduce it if I fork your Repl.

maybe that’s replit’s internal files? try running ls -a in the shell and perhaps moving your code to a new repl and trying again.

What does that do? Sorry if I’m interrupting.

Files prefixed with . (such as .config) are traditionally hidden files.
ls lists the files in the current directory, and ls -a (or equivalently ls --all) also includes hidden files.
