Discontinuing Cycles

With cycles no longer being available for power ups, I don’t see any purpose for them. Can I cash them out or convert them to Replit core credits?

See:
https://docs.replit.com/cycles/cycles-migration#what-will-happen-to-my-cycles-that-ive-already-purchased

Cycles will no longer be valid for purchasing cloud services, Reserved VM Deployments, Storage, or Outbound Data Transfer
If you have Cycles, either leftover from legacy Replit products or from earning them through Bounties, you can exchange them for usage credits. Credits are used when you are invoiced for usage-based billing overages, as explained in more detail on our pricing page.

Hey @jjroley welcome to the forums!

On your home page click the question mark ? and click ”Billing Issue” and say you want to convert your Cycles to Credits.

You can actually just convert them in the CLI: https://replit.com/~/cli/account/cycles-to-usage-credits

@boston2029 I didn’t know that, the staff say to do the Replit Issue stuff :person_shrugging:.

They just released that like the other day. It came with the usage updates.

Cool, thank you. I assume usage credits are only useable with a core account, correct?

No, but I believe you need a credit card required.

Confirmed that they are only applicable for core limit overages
