Did you know that your replit id is based on how many users joined before you?

I only knew that through interactions with bigminiboss and PikachuB2005.

Compare the user IDs for 9pfs, 10gssd, and amasad (all but amasad are me, obviously I’m not amasad). There’s a big gap! :slightly_smiling_face:

Your id comes before mine, right?

I’m 5000827 places ahead of you.

Do you know anyone from the first million to join?

That is a normal way of doing it. So no surprise there

That is correct. Implementing user IDs as an incrementing value can significantly reduce the complexity of database design and streamline the process of generating user id’s.

IDs for Firepup650 (My main obv), FireBot650, and Firecat650 are spaced out quite a bit too, lol.
IDs if anyone’s curious:
Firepup650: 5922662
Firebot650: 20695146
Firecat650: 22176132

I’ve known this for a while :man_shrugging: since I first saw Replit IDs, it’s kind of a standard thing to do.

it isn’t me who created it, it’s @Raadsel

cough cough know it all

I am the 7,297,934 user to join replit :smiley:

It crashed right before I was going to click the input ;-;

edit: it fixed itself

Well when you don’t have a v4 uuid and different people have a different number of digits it shouldn’t be hard to find out… Also id #1 lol
