Deploying private repl - is it still private?

I am currently using always on to run a private discord bot. Will switching over to using Deploy automatically make the repl public and leak the source code or can you deploy in privacy?

Hi @goatmountain , welcome to the forums!
I believe it will still be private, as this works the same way as hosting. So, you can still deploy your Reserved VM like normal, but the code will be private.

Deploying will not change anything in your Repl. It just loads your code into a personal virtual machine with access to more resources and near 100% runtime. Your source code is not leaked if your Repl is private (and it follows appropriate security procedures). :smile:
